Mesh coil technology revolutionised disposable vapes by delivering dramatically better flavour and vapour production. Every IGET and Alibarbar vape uses mesh coils, but not all mesh coils are equal. Here's what you need to know.
What Is a Mesh Coil?
Unlike traditional wire coils that use a single coiled wire to heat e-liquid, mesh coils use a thin strip of perforated metal mesh. This creates a much larger heating surface area, resulting in more even heat distribution and better e-liquid vaporisation.
Benefits of Mesh Coils
- Better flavour — Larger surface area extracts more flavour from the e-liquid
- More vapour — Even heating produces consistent, dense vapour clouds
- Longer life — Even heat distribution reduces hot spots that can burn the coil
- Consistency — Flavour remains consistent from first puff to last
Single vs Dual Mesh Coils
The JNR Cruiser uses a 1.2 Ohm dual mesh coil, while the IGET One uses a 0.6 Ohm dual mesh coil. Dual mesh means two mesh strips working together, delivering even richer flavour and vapour. Other models use single mesh coils at 1.0-1.2 Ohm, which still provide excellent performance.
Resistance Explained
Lower resistance (0.6 Ohm in IGET One) produces warmer vapour with denser clouds. Higher resistance (1.2 Ohm in JNR Cruiser and Bar Pro) produces slightly cooler vapour with crisper flavour. Both offer exceptional taste — just different experiences.
