Disposable Vape Not Working? — Troubleshooting Guide for Australians

Even the best disposable vapes can occasionally have issues. Before you throw it away, try these troubleshooting steps. Most problems are easily solved.

No Vapour / Not Hitting

  • Battery dead? — Connect USB-C charger. If the LED blinks, it needs charging.
  • Blocked airflow? — Check for debris in the mouthpiece. Gently blow through the bottom air intake.
  • Air sensor issue? — Cover one of the air intake holes with your finger while drawing to increase suction.

Blinking Light

  • Low battery — Most common cause. Charge via USB-C for 30-60 minutes.
  • E-liquid depleted — If the light blinks even when charged, the e-liquid has run out. Time for a replacement.
  • Short circuit protection — Let the device rest for 30 seconds, then try again.

Burnt Taste

  • Chain vaping? — Allow 5-10 seconds between puffs for the coil to rewick.
  • E-liquid low? — Near the end of its life, e-liquid levels drop and can cause dry hits. The device needs replacing.
  • New device taste? — First 10-20 puffs on some devices may taste slightly off. This is normal — the coil is priming.

Leaking

  • Store upright (mouthpiece up)
  • Avoid extreme temperatures
  • Don't over-draw (short, moderate puffs)
  • If persistent, the device may be faulty — contact our support team
